Financial Stability
Homes remain assets, not liabilities.
Long-Term Legacy
Generational wealth is protected and passed down, ensuring the next generation benefits.

How We Do It
Housing Navigation Support
Our Housing Navigation Program is designed to provide personalized, one-on-one guidance to legacy homeowners facing the complexities of homeownership. We pair families with dedicated housing navigators who assist with property assessments, financial education, legal support, and long-term asset management. Through this hands-on approach, we help families protect their homes, navigate difficult housing markets, and preserve their place in the community.
Community-Centric Homeowner Assistance
At REA, we are committed to addressing the specific needs of historically displaced Black communities in Seattle. We offer holistic, culturally informed programs that include mentoring, legal empowerment, and financial counseling. Our goal is to break down barriers, ensuring that homeowners in these communities have the tools and support they need to retain their properties and build generational wealth.
Partnerships for Legal Resources and Property Protection
At REA, we collaborate with trusted legal professionals as well as city and state officials to connect families with the resources they need to protect their homes and assets. Whether it’s setting up wills, establishing trusts, or navigating property rights, our referral network ensures homeowners have access to expert legal services. These partnerships help safeguard their financial future and preserve their homes for future generations, empowering families to build and maintain lasting legacies.
What If Resource Equity Didn’t Exist?
Without Resource Equity, Black homeowners navigating these challenges would face:
Unfair loan terms strip homeowners of their equity.
Without affordable trust attorneys, costly mistakes happen.
No access to capital for repairs or property taxes.
Families losing homes that should remain in the community.
But there’s another way.
